And it costs nothing to join. Strategists never pay to be part of the ecosystem; the platform earns only when you do, by processing the engagements you coordinate.
Independent grant strategy professionals
Strategists are independent grant strategy professionals who operate on the platform under the Platform Services Agreement to deliver grant-funded engagements to clients under their own Service Engagement Agreements. The client-facing role is “Strategist,” and the credential earned through the platform's certification program is the Certified Grant Strategy Consultant (CGSC).
On the platform
- Deliver grant strategy, application preparation, and post-award compliance support, each engagement governed by a Service Engagement Agreement directly between you and the client.
- Get matched with prospective clients through the platform's matching infrastructure: the Lead Lock Registry, the Strategist Lock framework, and automated lead routing.
- Build a team around each client by selecting specialists through the expert marketplace.
- Operate under the Platform Services Agreement (PSA), with optional Special Project Rate engagements under a Strategist Project-Rate Agreement.
Paid through the platform for the work you coordinate
Billed through the platform
You set your own rates and bill for the engagements you coordinate, whether you deliver the work yourself or select other experts. Payments are processed through the platform with EGE as merchant of record. The platform provides the rate and billing structure; what you make depends entirely on your own independent commercial activity.
No cost to join
Access the platform under the Zero-Cost Affirmation. A platform administration fee on processed transactions covers the infrastructure: AI tools, CRM, certification, compliance, and dispute handling.
The platform absorbs the risk
EGE absorbs merchant-of-record risk, including chargebacks and payment disputes, as a core part of the platform. Strategists do not absorb that risk.
Your brand stays yours
You are the provider of record for your services and the publisher of record for your business identity. “Powered by EGE” is an optional secondary mark, used at your discretion.
