Who Instructors are
Instructors are independent training professionals certified by the platform to deliver training content under the platform's training-grant infrastructure. Many engagements that involve Instructors are funded through workforce training grants; the "trainer" terminology often applies in those contexts.
What Instructors do
Through the platform, Instructors:
- Are listed on the Expert Database, the platform's searchable directory of certified training professionals.
- Receive Delivery Contracts from Strategists via the platform's matching infrastructure.
- Deliver training engagements under the Instructor Services Agreement framework.
- Receive Service Delivery Records and Peer Marketplace Feedback after each engagement, supporting ongoing quality and reputation.
Independent professional
Instructors are independent professionals, not employees of Expert Grant Ecosystem. Instructors exercise their own professional judgment in how they deliver training. Compensation terms are negotiated bilaterally with Expert Grant Ecosystem during onboarding and documented in the Instructor's Rate Card per the Instructor Services Agreement.
How Instructors are compensated
Instructors establish and maintain Stripe Connect Express accounts connected to the applicable Division's Stripe platform account per ISA §9.6. Platform onboarding includes Instructor System orientation, Expert Database profile setup, Rate Card finalization, Stripe Connect onboarding, and background verification confirmation per ISA §14.3. Instructor delivery fees are paid out through the platform under the ISA framework.
No participation charge, subscription, or administrative charge applies per ISA §9.6.1. Only the Stripe Connect transfer fee applies on outbound settlement.
Operative agreement
The Instructor Services Agreement (ISA) is the operative framework governing Instructor participation. The full set of operative agreements across all platform roles is enumerated on the Platform Overview page.
